-  Most smaller items are shipped USPS - locations in the US are served in 2-3 Days using the FREE ship option once shipped!

Lost Packages

If a shipped package is lost by the shipping provider and the missing package search process is closed by the shipping provider (UPS, FEDEX etc.) a refund or replacement item will be offered to the customer but not before this process is closed and the item is determined to be officially lost by the shipping provider.. 

This process can take roughly 10 business days. 

Packages do at times become "stuck" along their route and eventually find their way to their destination once the reason for the hang up is addressed.

Dedham Bike will work with the shipping provider to expdiate the missing package process.

Coupon Codes & Free Shipping Policies Etc.


Why Am I Not Getting Free Shipping Applied?

The number one reason you're not getting free shipping applied to your order is you've applied a coupon code to an item that brought the item below the $50.00 threshold for free shipping.

Please add more items to your cart and re-try the coupon code or remove it all together and you should be ready to roll.

Lastly, if you've chosen expediated shipping there is no free shipping given with this option due to the additional cost incurred.

Why Can't I Apply My Coupon Code?

Most likely it's because you're trying to apply it to an item that coupon codes are not valid on such as larger items including bikes, some bike racks and other larger and heavier pieces.

Another reason may be that you're attempting to apply the coupon to an already marked down item which you cannot.

Lastly, if you've already used your first time buyer discount code it will not work again. This is a one time usage code.

When Will My Items Ship?

With any order a one day processing period is needed. Items in stock at the store will ship within 24 hours after your order is placed. 

This results in an out the door to the customer time of 2 to 5 days depending on the item ordered.

Trek, Bontrager and Electra items in warehouse are shipped to you within 24 hours via direct warehouse fulfillment. 

REFUND POLICIES + CONDITIONS

  • Refunds will be granted on returnable items only (see our returns policy on this page)
  • Your refund will be granted on your original form of payment only.
  • Refunds will be issued upon the item in question being returned to the shop in person or via return shipping.
  • Depending on bank processing times you will see your refund in 10-14 business days in most cases once an item has been returned

Cancelled Pre-Orders & Back-Orders

  • Any item purchased through our pre-order program will be subject to a 30% restocking fee if the order is cancelled after 7 days from original purchase date.

On Sale And Closeout Items - No Returns

  • Items that are on sale or listed as a closeout cannot be returned for a refund.
  • All sales are final.

Freight Will Not Be Refunded On Returned Items Except In Situations Where You Received A Damaged Or Defective Item

   

-Please see below for items that cannot be returned.

-Items must be returned within 30 days to receive a refund.

-All items must be in original packaging and in new, re-sellable condition.

-All clothing returns must be in new, re-sellable condition with hang-tags attached unless covered under that brand's ride comfort money back guarantee.

-Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment as the original sale within 30 days of Dedham Bike receiving the product back.

-We reserve the right to refuse any return based on merchandise condition once we receive it back.

No Returns Accepted On:

Bicycles Bought In-Store: All bicycle and layaway deposits are non-refundable but are exchangeable.

(unless discussed prior to sale and noted on receipt)

A 25% restocking fee will apply to any returned bicycle if an exchange cannot be agreed upon.

Bikes must be returned within 7 days and in showroom condition if an exchange is agreed upon.

Shipped Bicycles And Frames: No returns are accepted on shipped bicycles or frames. No exceptions.

Car Racks And Rack Accessories Or Parts: Are non-refundable - applies to online orders as well 

-Please contact us prior to ordering if you need help finding the proper car rack!

Tools: Are not returnable regardless of condition.

Trainers: Are non refundable - we will assist on any warranty claims if needed.

Worn Clothing: There are no returns on worn clothing unless covered under a brand's exchange policies.

On Sale Or Closeout Items: Are non-refundable.

Most orders will be ready within 2 to 7 business days. 

We are happy to accommodate quicker pickup times if possible.

Kindly call us by phone to confirm the order prior to picking it up and we will try our best to get your items as quickly as possible.

Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered.

If you see the following message: Pre Order - Text 781-546-4162 For ETA on the product page this means the item you are ordering is available to order but on a backorder.

Please text us at the bottom right of this page for an ETA on the item in question.
